chance of qualifying for the Aid & Attendance Program. You may also be
eligible to receive help to cover the cost of assisted living care every month.
Aid
and Attendance Benefits:
A Federal Benefit program that offers money for
veterans and surviving partners of veterans who are in need of assistance for
their daily activities.
To
qualify for aid and attendance benefits:
1. As described by the Veterans
Administration, one must have served in the military for at least 90 days
including 1 day of wartime.
2. Must be above 65 years of
age or a person with physical disabilities.
3. Must have been honorably
discharged.

of wartime are:
World War I:
5/9/1916-11/11/1918;
World War II:
12/07/1941-12/31/1946;
Korean Conflict:
6/27/1950-1/31/1955;
Vietnam Era: 8/5/1964-5/7/1975;
Persian Gulf: 8/20/1990-present
